Mystery of the Manger November 18, 2008

Wow, I have been a little delinquent in my blogs! That is what happens when Christmas planning gets into full swing! Our Sunday morning children have been working very hard in preparation for their musical, Mystery of the Manger, which will be showcased at the Compass Point Main Street Christmas – Dec 5,6 &7. I love Christmas outreach. I am excited that we have a opportunity to invite many people to church over this Christmas, and we pray that they will be touched by the love of Jesus and the real message of the holidays. I am excited as well to see all our children working today so hard, and that they will be getting a chance to use the gifts that they have, it’s going to be fun!

Thanks Compass Point! November 3, 2008

This past Friday night Compass Point Kidz hosted our first Big Top Bash – a family and children’s outreach on Halloween. What a great night we had! We gave out 250 bags of candy, and had many wonderful children and parents pass through our church!

I just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to all of the people who donated candy and chips to this event, and to the over 60 people who showed up to volunteer – you made the night a success!

I am always so happy when children are having a wonderful time – nothing beats that! And I also love seeing people serve with excellence! I think both of those things occured on October 31st! God is good!
