Well, Main Street Christmas is over. ….The crazy staring Llama is gone…… The sleigh rides have ended. We had a great weekend, with so many people working so hard to pull this event together – THANK YOU to all who were involved. You were amazing.
I especially want to give a shout out to our awesome kids, for putting on 5 performances of “The Mystery of the Manger” They did a fabulous job and I was really proud of them. Thanks to parents for being committed to a really busy weekend. Your children shone bright!
We also had a great presentation from the children at our Eaglesfield Campus on Dec 21st. They did a wonderful job with their singing (and baa-ing) at the morning service as they celebrated Christmas with 2 wonderful songs! Thanks to the leaders at that campus for all their hard work!
Now that the dust has settled a little, and I can see my office floor again – I can’t help think about how good God is, and I am really excited to see what he has next for us. I am praying for more opportunity to reach into our community and care and love for those who need Jesus. I am looking forward to January and setting apart some time to pray and strategically plan for the new year!
In the meantime, I have some time off. Time to bake some gingersnaps and spend time with my family, and sleep (oh how I want to sleep) and of course to celebrate Jesus. His life, is the reason I live!
Have a blessed Christmas!
